Very busy weekend

This weekend was very busy and I have tons of pics to prove it! On Friday Eric's Aunt and cousin came up from Florida and this was the first time they have seen Owen. Eric's aunt said they have to see him everyday and so far they have. We are going to eat breakfast tomorrow morning with them and then were going to the mall to do a little shopping. On Saturday we went to Bailey's 1st Birthday and we had a really good time. Owen fell asleep really early that night but of course woke up really early Sunday morning. On Sunday we went to Eric's moms house for a cookout with some of Eric's family and of course Owen was the center of attention. Here are a lot of pics from our busy weekend.

Happy 1st Fathers day!

This is Eric's first Fathers day and so far it has been very relaxing. I know Eric is so excited to be a dad and he is great at it!! I always tell everyone he is good at everything so I figured he would master the dad thing pretty well. I am so excited that Owen will have such a great dad to learn all of the little things in life like how to ride a bike, throw a ball and tie a tie (my mom has always said there needs to be a class on that because none of the kids now and days know how lol) My sister and her boyfriend Brian came down to visit and see Owen. They couldn't believe how much he had changed in just this little bit of time!!

Puppy love

I was doing some laundry today and when I went in the living room this is what I found. Pebbles was asleep until I walked in, but you get the idea. He loves sleeping on his belly but I only let him do this during the day.

1 month old

Yesterday Owen was a month old!! I can't believe how time has flown by and we couldn't be happier. He has definitely changed our lives forever to say the least. He is starting to get a personality now and smiles a lot more when we talk to him. Today we are going to Mikayla's first birthday and this will be the first birthday party we have brought Owen to also. It is hard to believe Mikayla is going to be one, it seems like she was just born!! It makes me appreciate all the time I have with Owen as a baby and know those days will be gone before I know it! I also want to congratulate my little brother Lance for graduating Middle School!! Keep up the good work and good grades, your a lot smarter then I was! lol

Sleeping baby

I am updating my blog while Owen is sleeping away!! Of course he sleeps the best during the day and hasn't made a sound in about an hour!! I have checked on him like 5 times though, it always scares me when he is in another room then me so I have to check on him so much! I had a lot of cleaning to do so I am glad he is sleeping good. It is the first time I have really cleaned my house since I left for the hospital to deliver Owen and it was driving me crazy!! No one cleans your house the way you do, so I was so excited after I was done. We had a really good weekend and were able to run some errands yesterday and I went to my friend Danielle's baby shower Saturday night which was really nice. Owen is still eating every two hours or less during the day and night and is eating 5oz. each feeding. During one feeding last night he took 6oz!! He is going to be a little chunky butt if he keeps eating like this, and Eric and I are going to be broke!lol Formula is so expensive and we are going through two cans a week. This is the time I wish I was still able to breast feed because they say it is a lot more filling. Oh yeah...we tried the rice cereal and it didn't help he still woke up every two hours and it made him very congested at night because I think it is to thick for him. We don't have that much going on this week except a couple of doctors appointments and visiting with some of the people that haven't seen Owen.
