Standing up!

Owen has started to pull himself up! Today on his daycare report it said"Owen is trying to pull himself up to stand" I know he has been trying this for a while but it was always small objects that he would pull himself up on like his basket in his room or a small stool, so Eric and I were shocked when we put him in his crib to clean up dinner and this is what we found him doing........

" you caught me!"

After that little adventure we decided to put him on lower ground and of course he goes right to his trash can, which is his favorite thing in his room.

Crazy Weekend!

This weekend was jammed packed for me and I can't remember the last time I had this much going on! Friday night I went out with the girls and most of them I haven't seen in over a year, so we had a lot of catching up to do! We had a great time and can't wait to do it again. Saturday morning I had a hair appointment and later on we had our Valentine's Day blog Party! Owen and I had such a great time and he got to see his best buddy Ryder, which is the only friend that Owen has near his age and they get along so well! He also got to see all of his other little friends. We always have such a good time together and it's crazy how the kids have grown up so fast!On Sunday my parents, Lance, Arica and Brian came over for dinner and of course to see Owen.

Well we found Owen and then we headed off to my grandma's house for her 75th birthday!! We had a really good time and had plenty of food. Grandma always loves to see Owen and I know he always has fun over there.

9 months

Owen was 9 months old yesterday and time sure has flown by! Owen is so energetic and is so much fun now that his little personality is showing. He is definitely testing his limits and loves to get into things that aren't his..... like the remote, cell phones and the computer modem. He has started to pull himself up when he is in his crib so we have to lower the mattress so he doesn't fall out. He can now put up a pretty good fight when he doesn't want nose drops, his faced wiped or getting his diaper changed! He is so strong and just pushes my hands out of the way. He is still eating 5 bottles a day, but were trying to break him to only 3 bottles a day. He eats any kind of table food we put in front of him like mac and cheese, French fries, toast with jelly, spaghetti,pizza rolls and a lot more, but we still give him baby food at day care because it is a lot easier. We haven't introduced him to any meat because we are waiting to see the doctor on the 16th so we can make sure it's ok to start. He does the half crawl and half army crawl to get around but it's only a matter of days until he is really crawling. He is getting 4 top teeth and you can see the white tips but these are taking a lot longer to really come out!! They are really swollen and look pretty painful but he is doing a lot better with these teeth then the bottom two. He is still in 12 month clothes but they are starting to get tight around his belly. I am buying him 18 months for all of his summer clothes and some 12 months for the beginning of the summer. He wears size 3 diapers during the day but 4 "nighttime" diapers at night because he was soaking through them. His favorite word is still "da da" and he still only says "ma ma" when he cries but that's good enough for me. His favorite toy is his mailbox and he loves to put the little plastic letters in his mouth. lol Owen makes us laugh everyday and he such a good baby.

We finished one project that I wanted to do and that was to put closet organizers in our bedroom closet and they turned out great, it's crazy how getting organized gives you so much more room! Eric and I are going out for our Valentines dinner tonight at the Chart House in Annapolis we have reservations at 6:00 and Eric's mom is going to watch Owen over night for us. Were probably going to see a movie after dinner but were still undecided on which one. I hope everyone has fun with there Valentine festivities this weekend!!
