50 Days to go!!

WOW, it is crazy to think I only have 50 days to go until we finally see out little baby Owen. This week has been crazy trying to find out where to put all of this stuff we got from the baby shower, but I think Eric and I did a good job getting organized and ready. We went and got a couple more things from Babies R Us that we needed and I think at this point we have everything we need or everything I think we need.lol I am starting to feel alot more tired now because I am not sleeping through the night at all. I either wake up to go to the bathroom 7 times or get 3 charlie horses a night! The charlie horses are the worse because they are so painful and my legs are sore the next morning. I definitely feel bigger and I am able to feel him alot more! He feels more like a worm in there. I am sure he is running out room and is ready to escape, but he still has a little while to go.

Baby shower

This week has been so crazy trying to get everything organized from the baby shower! I had a really good time and everything turned out great! There was a little over 60 people there and you could tell with all the presents I got. I got almost everything I need and I have very little to buy. Eric and I are very grateful for everyone that was able to come and hope everyone enjoyed themselves. I especially want to thank my mom for throwing my baby shower for me. I am a very particular person when it comes to planning things and she always takes it in stride. I also want to thank everyone else that helped....like Eric's mom,Nikki and Mandi. Let me not forget Karen who got suckered into helping us set up because Mandi told her it started an hour earlier.lol

I also went to my doctors on Monday and I lost 1 pound! I couldn't believe it with all the food that I ate at the baby shower and the 3 pieces of ice cream cake I had on Sunday. Owen was doing good and his heartbeat was 142. I also tried to convince Dr.Ali to move my due date up but he wouldn't budge! I guess we will be having a linebacker after all! lol My next appointment is on April 6th and I will be getting some lab work done.

One of my favors I had....Hershey candy bars! My mom had to wrap them all by hand.

We had so much food, but it was all really good!

This is some of the stuff I got for my babyshower. I was opening gifts for an hour and a half! We needed everything we got, so once again thank you to everyone!!!

!!!!!Babysitters!!!!!

Eric and I have been looking for a babysitter for about a month now and are getting very frustrated about the situation! I never realized how many weirdos there are in this world until you want someone to watch your 6 week old baby! We have interviewed all walks of life and are starting to think were the crazy ones. We interviewed one lady who thinks that our government is giving steroids to our chicken so therefore won't let any of the kids eat meat. We interviewed another woman that brings in people from other countries and lets them stay with her. This afternoon we went to a woman's house that I wouldn't even let my dog sit on her floor unless she was wrapped an bubble wrap, her house was disgusting! Not only that but she broke down crying...... twice!!!! Talk about unstable,I am the pregnant one I should be the one breaking down and crying not the person I want to take care of my child!!! lol So needless to say we are still searching and keeping our fingers crossed we will find someone we really like and trust with baby Owen! Busy Busy!!

For ther past two days I have been busy going to the doctors and to get another sonogram!! Yah I will start with my regular appointment first..... I went to Dr.Ali's monday morning and it was pretty routine I have gained 5 pounds since my last apppointment, which was only two weeks ago!! The nurse did not tell me Owens heartbeat so I don't know what it is this time, which makes me mad, but I won't forget to ask next time. He also said that I was measuring right at 30 weeks, which is good. During the appointment I asked him if I could get another sonogram and he said yes. I scheduled the appointment for this afternoon. We went to Tower Radiology and I wasn't to impressed with them, I definitely liked the first sonogram place we went to alot better!! We weren't able to get any good pictures of his face or really anything for that matter. The only thing we know is he's going to be BIG BOY!! The average weight of a baby at 30 weeks is 3lbs. Owen weighed 4.5lbs!! According to the ultrasound I am 32 weeks and 4 days and my due date is May 2nd. I was definitely in shock when I heard the weight, I was not expecting that at all!! Besides the weight being off the charts everything looked great and he looked very healthy which is the most important and the 2nd most important was that he is still a boy!! lol I posted some pics of my belly I took this morning and some from the picnic we had on Sunday with some friends.

Cutest letters ever!
