Some finishing touches

I am a little late at posting some pics and weekend news but figured better late then never! Eric and I had a busy weekend, we went out with our friends Nikki and Matteson and we saw Mall Cop which was pretty funny, I thought. I am not usually a comedy person but figured I try it out since we were late for seeing Marley and me. We also registered at Babies "R" Us this weekend and it took us like 2 hours!! I don't think we forgot anything and we registered for alot of stuff that we really need.I also went to the doctors on Friday and found out I have gained 10 pounds since my last visit!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As you can tell I was shocked, but the doctor didn't really seem to care so I guess I am ok so far. I have really been trying to watch my cravings because I can not gain that much weight at my next visit I would go crazy!In case you were keeping track I have gained 15 pounds in 6 months. I have also posted some pics of the new changing table and a couple other things we put up in his room. We have other things to go in the room but we are not getting them until my baby shower because Eric's mom bought us all the pictures and stuff to match the set, it will be a long wait! I also wanted to say thank-you to my dad for buying us the crib and Eric's mom for getting us the changing table it has been a huge help and we really appreciate it!

Good Morning!

I decided to take a really quick pic of my belly before going to work this morning.

We put the crib together, well not really me I just got in the way but Eric did!

Bye Bye Pink!!

Well we have finally started on the baby's room and the pink is gradually disappearing! We have put up a new fan and Eric started painting this weekend. The changing table came in this weekend, but we are not going to put the changing table or the crib together until we get the carpet installed, which is being put in tomorrow morning! Here are some pics and a belly pic from last weekend. I will take a updated one tonight!

22 weeks

Well this week seems to be going by quick already! Eric and I are having a carpet company come out tonight and give us an estimate for the baby's room and were hoping they give us a good price like they did Nikki and Matteson. We also have to get a new fridge tomorrow because the one we have now is going bad along with the cream cheese and mayo! lol The fridge came with the house so I am sure it is pretty old. After we get the carpet installed we are going to start painting, right now the bedroom is still pink. I will post some pics of my growing bump tonight.

The Closet!!

We finally got the closet done although we had a minor set back with Eric having the flu this weekend! I haven't gotten sick yet so I am hoping I am an the clear! I hope this gives us a lot more storage space in his room. We left some room on the floor of the closet for some bigger items and some room to extend the height when his clothes get bigger! My next appointment. is next Friday and I am sure I have put on some weight since my last appointment, because my appetite has gone crazy lately!! I also have been feeling Owen kick a lot at night but he is still to stubborn to let Eric feel him. As soon as he puts his hand on my stomach he stops!!Here are some pictures of the final product.

Happy New Year!

I am a little late but Happy New Year! Eric and I spent New Years Eve at our friends Danielle and Kenny's house and had a really good time. On New Years day we went over my moms house and had all kinds of Italian food my grandmother cooked. It was very good and we also celebrated my cousin Anthony's 17th B-Day. I hope this year is as good or better then 2008. I know one thing Eric and I are looking forward to is seeing Owen!! We are starting on the baby's closet this weekend and then we are going to start painting, I will keep everyone updated on the progress of the nursery!!
