37 week belly pic!

Here are some pics of my growing belly! I forgot to tell everyone that when I went to the doctors he said I was meauring at 40 weeks!! lol I am going to be popping out a linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys! lol

Full Term!!!

Yah! Today I am considered full term and I sure feel like I could have a baby any day now! I went to the doctors this morning and found out I am not making any progress!! I am not dilated at all but Dr.Ali said he didn't expect me to be because this is my first baby. I lost 2lbs. since my last visit, so I have gained 28 pounds in total so far. Owen's heart beat was 143 bpm. Dr. Ali also said I am having a MINIMUM of an 8 pound baby and if I go full term he could be over 9lbs!!! Eric and I were both average size babies, we both weighed 7 lbs or so. I don't know why he is so big!! It must come from my mom who was 9lbs 5 oz. when she was born.I knew he was going to be big but this confirms my fears!! Because of the size of the baby I have an inducement date of May 12th. I will go to the hospital on May 11th at 7:00 pm and hopefully have him on the 12th. I am going to post some belly pics soon!

HOT HOT HOT!!

Well this weekend we have had some HOT weather, it has been in the 90's all weekend long and it is miserable outside!! I haven't gone out at all this weekend because I have been swelling alot and don't want it to get any worse. We did go to my moms house for dinner last night after the sun went down! lol I don't know how people are pregnant all summer long, but I guess it is worse for me because I am ready to pop! Now just getting off the couch is a hassle. The weather is suppose to stay pretty hot until Tuesday and I am not looking forward to wearing my scrubs to work because I feel like I am an my pajama's all day long!! This is the worst week for the weather to be so hot because I had some errands to run before the baby came but I guess I will have to worry about it later in the week!

36 weeks!!

I went to Dr.Ali today for one of my routine visits and everything looked good! Owen's heart beat was 156 bpm, which is pretty fast for him so he must be getting excited! I have gained another 4 pounds and at my last visit I gained 5! So altogether I have gained 30 pounds already! Dr.Ali was very happy about that and said I could keep on gaining if I wanted to. lol I told him I think I would rather stay at 30! The less I gain the less I have to lose. I am getting very excited and anxious about seeing Owen in a couple weeks. I will start getting checked next week to see if I am dialated at all. Yah!
36 weeks

I'm still here!

Well I haven't posted in a long time and I promise it's not on purpose!! lol Eric and I have had a hectic schedule these past couple weeks. Eric started a new job on Monday with a company called General Dynamics, so far he really likes it and likes the guys he is working with too. My job has been pretty crazy too. We got a new computer system and it is a little more challenging then we expected it to be. We all seemed to be getting a hang of it by the end of the week. I have been feeling pretty good, I am starting to get swollen legs and ankles. I also can't wear my rings anymore and it feels so weird. I am definitely getting to the point that I am moving a little slower and really think I need a wheel barrel to carry my belly around in. Owen is still very active and he is starting to run out of room in there so his movements hurt me sometimes. I have another doctors appointment tomorrow and then I will start going every week. I don't think my doctor starts to examine until 37 weeks so I will know by next week if I have made any progress!!

I haven't posted a pic of my growing belly in a while......so here it is at 34 weeks. I also posted a pic of a little quote we put above his closet, it turned out really good and I love the meaning.

Feeling better

I am starting to get over my whole sickness thing from last week, I went to the doctors on Thursday and they put me on an antibiotic for tonsillitis. It has never taken me this long to get better from being sick, especially being on medicine. I still have a runny nose and a cough but I can tell that is gradually getting better. Eric and I didn't do much this weekend we went to a cookout at our neighbors house and had a good time. It is always nice to meet new people and get out every once in a while. Eric and Matteson went for a bike ride today, because the weather was so nice and I sat inside and put all my winter clothes away. I figured that was something I should tackle now so I am organized when the baby comes. That's all for now.

sick and NO sleep!

Well as your can tell by the blog title I have felt like crap lately! I started getting a sore throat,earache and headache Monday night and it has gotten a lot worse by the day! I left work early today thinking I could get some rest and try to fight this thing off but it's not working at all!! It is currently 12:04 a.m.(even though the clock at the bottom says some random time, I can't figure out how to change it.lol) on Thursday morning and I can't sleep. I am so tired but as soon as I lay down my throat closes up and I feel like I am choking!It is the worst feeling in the world, it also doesn't help that my heartburn is really bad right now too. I started taking some over the counter medication that the Dr. recommended but it doesn't seem like it is helping at all. I have also already taken the 10 tums I can take in a 24 hour period! So I have given up the whole going to sleep thing for the night and just trying to keep myself occupied until morning comes around and I can call the doctor. Well that's it for now unless I get bored again and decide to post some more!!
